Tips on taking pictures of horses with a film camera?
Bonjour, so I’m going out to the stable this saturday. Just to get some pictures of the schooling horses. Now, I’ve asked this before, but I’m using a film camera, and I’m just a beginning photographer, person. So, I need any tips, Honestly, I have a REALLY old camera, it’s the Nikon 7. So yeah. Ideas?

Try to be in an area that your not having to change your exposure dramatically between shots. Like the person before said, try to keep the sun at your back. It helps if you have a helper to hold the horse and move them around the way you want. Horses are quite difficult to photograph because they have a mind of their own and usually don’t want to do what you do. I have a super old nikon that i use too, works great. Good luck!

I would prefer pictures of quarter horses with austrailian shepherds if possible, but am open to others.

i want to get my senior pics taken with my horse and i was just wondering if anyone knew of any good photographers who can take pictures with horses……web sites are good to so if you know the photographers web site that would be greatly appretiated. Thanks

I’m not going to buy a horse – this is just for general knowledge. I don’t know a single thing about horses, I don’t even know one breed, so the website must be simple for me to understand.
